Thanks... I never added the 2nd tank, though i did get a new plastic one off line. Your Travelette appears to becoming a beast of a rig.

My first reaction at the underside of the hood with the aluminum covered insulation was to suggest adding some sheet aluminum over the fanbelt area. Then realised you don't have the IH engine. I added similar insulation and soon developed a problem from the tiny debres that come through the radiator and get thrown up from the power steering belt at the insulation. That area looked like it had been hit with a shotgun blast after a couple years. I got some sheet aluminum and slid it between the braces and the insulation. Seems to solve the problem. I think you may also discover that aluminum fabric will come loose from the insulaton and 'bag down'. It does look nice for a while however. One thing to watch with the hood is at the 'latch' area. The part 'in the hood' seems to crack out allowing the hood to fly up against the front of the cab. The latch stays in place but the hood is not attached. Bill 68 Travelall
