the solinoid wont disengauge the plunger on the solinoid....... sounds like you need to rebuild the solinoid
i think its better to start off with a new harness, its better to actually know what you have and are working with than fix 30+ years of previous owners bad fixes,mods and additions to an electrical...
im guessing your not using IH stuff........ im thinking pitman arm, tie rod........ steering geometry isnt that hard but does require research especially in a swap situation ...... without more info...
ive got a 72 S2 345/727 d20 i need a steeringcolumn..... what are my options? minimal fabrication is desired...... toying with the idea of an older non keyed column that will bolt in........ whats...
so there is no way a compression test would be in order? im just thinking small basic..... I would think with heat comes expansion......
