    Default Rust in cylinders

Got this engine for like 100$ with a 727 tranny + X fer case. Im guessing it sat in a field and got water inside (hence the rust) lol

Is this fixable..? (im a noob at anything to do with machine work)

Do i just need to hone the cylinders and have the block resurfaced or what?

take it to a machine shop and see what they say. i don't think it is savable but you never know. and how much money you want to spend on it. it is worth saving for the money you would spend saving it.

If nothing else is wrong and it's not already been done, it should be able to be bored to a standard oversize. You would then need new pistons, and may need to have the crank turned, may need major valve work too, depending on where the water got in, so a good examination and estimate of the costs should be the first step. It's gotten hard, around here, to find a shop to do such work.
