    Talking Carb Rebuild

    Hey Guys,

I am getting ready to rebuild my carb. it is a two barrel Holley model 2300 with manual choke. This carb does not have any vacum lines coming off of it. It seems pretty plain, but you know how that goes. I ordered the Holley rebuild kit for it. So what I'm asking is, is there anything in particular that I should be aware of before I start This endevor. I have never rebuilt a holley carb. I have done Edelbroks before, but thats a totally different animal.

    Thanks for all the help.

Simple, follow the instructions that come with the kit and lay out every part and piece of the damn thing. Soak it all in a solvent tank or just clean the shit out of it with brake cleaner/carb cleaner. But if you've already rebuilt an Edelbrock then you know this simple stuff. Otherwise they're really straight foward and simple to rebuild.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully it goes as simple as it sounds.
