    Talking Power Brakes

Does anyone know how to convert the old brake system in my 67 Scout to a power brake system I know I'll need a power booster and a new master cylinder, but which one fits and what other modifications will I need to do.

    Thanks

    Default power brakes

Ok I'm not sure about yours but I installed a complete hydroboost system from a chevy 1t disc/drum. I had to remove my driverside wheelwell, and modify the pushrod. Works awesome!!!!!!! It will lock all 4 37" tires and yet provides VERY predictable braking. Good luck

    Default power brakes

Ok I'm not sure about yours but I installed a complete hydroboost system from a chevy 1t disc/drum. I had to remove my driverside wheelwell, modify the pushrod, use the chevy ps pump, and change 1 fitting on the hoses I got with it(I received the ps pump, hoses, master cylinder, and hydroboost unit for I think $210 off of ebay including shipping). Works awesome!!!!!!! It will lock all 4 37" tires and yet provides VERY predictable braking. I am running a s2 disc brake front axle and ps box atm. Good luck
