Default 79 Scout II Tie Rod End ?

I just picked up a 79 Scout II (I'm guessing it was a Rallye due to the rims and steering wheel) and have it in the shop for misc little stuff and my mechanic just called and said my tie rod ends were bent down, odd. He can find the drag bar easily enough but the tie rod ends are not available from his suppliers.
I'm assuming my 79 is considered a late model and will need the fine thread ends as seen on SSS.com and Scoutparts.com
Anybody have a cross for a tie rod end part # to a common #?

    TIA.

They may be ford tie rod ends.

That's not a bad choice. You can expect to get the right part the first time, unlike the chain parts stores. Your time is worth something, and so is keeping your quota of words you don't want children to hear in check.
