    Default fuel pump

Hi guys, Jim Adams here. Have a question about my fuel pump. It went bad and so I need to replace it or fix it. I would really love to be able to keep the old fuel pump as it is the oem pump with a filter and a removable glass bowl on the pump itself. Does anyone know a place that might still make a rebuild kit for it or has anyone done a home rebuild with success?. I can get a new one from rock auto for $30.00, however I would really like to keep my original if possible. Oh, fyi, its a 1971 1110 4x4, 345. Thanks, Jim.

The maker's name should be cast onto it, and the model number stamped into it; can you find and post these?

Believe it or not I cannot find a manufacturers name or symbol stamped anywhere on it. The only thing I can find is one number which is "fp1226". Does seem very odd that there is no makers stamp on. So there ya go. Thanks, Jim
