    Default Leaky Power Steering Reservoir

Well I may as well get it all out there...I have gone through 2 new pumps
and tried to replace the gaskets also. It seems to be coming from the
pressure hose going to the steering box.. I am starting to wonder if it is
something I am just going to have to live with and carry around an extra
bottle or two of PS fluid and not park in anyone drive way? Its serious..

    75ScoutGuy,

When I first got my Scout I went through a bottle a day. I replaced the pump and steering box and the leaking stopped. It started leaking again recently due to the hoses being old and cracked. I purchased just the high pressure and starting working on it.. after I got it out, I found that the low pressure/return was shot as well. They are not that expensive so my suggestion is to replace both at the same time to save yourself time and headache in the future.

    Best of Luck,
    Rob
