    Default engine for 1960 b100

    i have a 1960 b100 with bd220 going to need to be bored.
    having trouble even finding pistons.
    is there other engines that will bolt to the existing 3 speed.??
    i also have a complete chevy 235 with tranny
    anyone put one of those in a 1/2 ton b100 ??

    The IH engines are the only ones with that bell housing. They aren't too hard to find in the lower 48, but in Alaska, they're not as common. You could change the bell housing and use an IH V8 also. There is a different crossmember for the engine mount, but the one you are using right now stays put, as it's also a frame brace.
