    Default Rusty Rockers 1960

Hi. I'm looking at a pretty nice 1960 Travelall, except for the rockers which look pretty bad. The guy said they have a double layer of metal sandwiched back to back and that is what causes the rust between the layers. Is this correct? Has anyone cut into this style rockers and repaired them with metal? How was that? Not hopeful, but does anyone make rocker repair patch panels for this era Travelalls?

    Thanks.

BTW, I looked at my 58 A120 pickup yesterday and the rockers are 1 layer and completely open on the back, so no place to trap moisture. Did they change to a box section enclosed rocker on Travelalls or on 59/60 IHs?

there is a pocket that catches mud and then it holds moisture right by the gas tank. There is all kinds of patch panels available for this repair. Scoutparts.com has them in stock. I just purchased them for my scout 80.
