    Default Crank Pulley Question

I had put the two outer pulleys on my inner pulley from a flat bed 345 truck. It seems that the belt rides too low in the pulley and slips ocaisionally. Are these the same as the scout pulleys.

Pulley system on an IH is dependent completely on what you have to hook up on which vehicle on which engine. There are only some "rules of thumb."

The crank pulleys drive the waterpump/alternator and the air conditioning. The water pump pulley drives the power steering and the smog pump, if any. There are shims to space them if needed. Belt size is dependent on pulley size.
