    Default newbie needs purchase advice 1967 scout 800

    looking to purchase 1967 scout 800

    runs, 4 wheel drive works, all electrical.

    has some rust and i am concerned. fenders, tail section and bed has rust and some holes.

    can send link of pics if someone is interested in taking a look. not looking for full restore but would like a trail truck. need thoughts on whether ot not I should keep looking.

    I'm sure that at least some of us will be able to help. lol. Let us know what you got! There's ways around not being able to post links, like not putting the dot com on the end. We can figure that much out. Sometimes, if the price is right and you're determined enough to fix it up, condition really doesn't matter.

    the price is right at 450. will be a 3 hour drive to pick it up. will post link later.

    For 450, I'd buy that. Doesn't look that bad at all, especially not for running and driving. Looks like you'll have to get yourself some new gas tanks and a good top for it, but if you look around you'll find everything you need. Places like Super Scout Specialists will become your new best friend for parts. lol.
