    Default Scout 800 door question

Hey Everyone. Im in the middle of a custom rebuild/restore on a 67 800. The truck with came with extra wing windows and the glass is good, however almost everything else inside the door looks to be in need of replacement. I have taken all of the bolts/handles/screws out of the door, and have removed the wing window. Is there anyway I can completely take apart the doors to inspect the condition of the metal inside and while im at it, completely overhaul them? If not, what is the easiest way to remove the window regulator. Thank you

Scout 800 doors are very simple, You can remove the outer skin of the door by drilling about 50 spot welds and the regulators come out easy here are the steps
1.remove access cover, vent window and door glass( there are clips that hold the window on the regulator kinda like a c clip they are located in the slots on the actual window frame they just slide off sideways not pull off)

    2.remove handle
3.remove 4 screws that hold regulator
4.pull the window up and out
    5. pull the regulator out through the access hole.
    6. get a Beer and enjoy it

Thanks AZ! I gave it a shot this morning. The window seems to be frozen in the 'down' position (glass is stuck in the door and wont roll up). Any tips on removing this stubborn beast?

P.S. Include a few more step 6's next time. 1 is never enough.

    Default regulator

There are clips that hold the regulator to the bracket at the bottom of the window. They are supposed to twist off but may be rusted and brittle and may break. You may have to cut the clip off as parts of them can split off and not leave enough to grab. They are behind the glass' bracket relative to the access panel where the regulator arms go through the bracket slots.
