Default Scout 80 transmission kicking out of 3rd

Hello, have a 1965 4x4 152 scout with t90 trans. You have to keep hand on gear shift when regular cruising to keep it popping into neutral. When acceleration or in any kind of bind such as climbing small hill on road it kicks out violently. Requires very light pressure on flat ground. 40 or 50 lbs in a bind. So please help me fix or obtain a replacement option for not much $$$$$.
    Thanks guys

There are lots of those transmissions floating around, and the parts for the jeep version are still available. Don't know about the scout version. Depends on what part of the country you're in as to what your options are.
