    Default Headlights Help

So, my headlights quit working; but oddly the high beams still work. All other lights are fine. Little help? Thanks huge!

    Default headlights

I would think the headlight 'switch' supplies power to the 'dimmer switch' on the floor. If the high beams work, power is getting through the dashboard to the dimmer switch and to the lights. The dimmer switch routs the power to the high or low beam circuit. ASSUMING the wireing and grounds are in good condition, either both headlights have burned out low beams or the dimmer switch is bad. It is probably time to replace the dimmer switch anyway!

Hi beam selector switch down on the floor. They get all dirty inside being next to the holes in the floorboard. Mine cleaned up good and lights work good now.
