    Default Scout 800 Rear Differential

    Dear all,

I am an owner of an International scout for 22 years. I am soo proud to use such a great machine. Recently there was a problem came from the rear differential's bearing. So I think I have to replace with a new one therefore actually I do not know how to remove the "center nut" of this particular differential (Attached an image).

Please give me advice how to remove this nut...

    Thanks

    Default 800 axle

You are looking at the axle flange. It is welded to the end of the axle and is not removeable. The entire axle is removed by removing the wheel, then the drum, and pulling the axle with its attached flange. You can then service the differential.
