    Default scout 80 pictures

Hello everyone, im new to this site and im kinda new to the ih thing. im 15 i just got a 63 scout 80 a couple weeks ago. my dad has a 74 4x4 200 camper special pickup that he bought about 3 years ago that has kinda been our project (4 inch lift with 35s and just other general stuff). so i know a little bit bout these things. My plans for the scout is lift it 4-5 inches and 33s and i will probally be staying sua. So if you got a 80/800 please post picture and how you went about lifting it an what size tires you have on it. Also can some one tell me wat the lug pattern is on my scout. Thanks

Lug pattern is most likely 5 on 5.5 unless axles have been swapped or something crazy was done by the PO

Also, i have heard some older scouts were 4 lug. but if its 5, its 5 on 5.5

2wd Scout 80s were 4 lug and 14" wheels. 2wd Scout 800 also had this pattern, as well as a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern which is the same as many 1/2 ton trucks, IHC included. Rims could be had in 15" and 16". Most of the later 2wd postal Scouts were 5 on 4.5. All AWD Scouts were 5 on 5.5. The rims were also available in 15 and 16".
